I’ve spent more than 20 years behind the chair, with a decade in New York City shaping the foundation of my craft. During that time, I worked as an educator for Framesi, taught other stylists, and styled hair for fashion week shows and editorial photo shoots. My work later took me to Milan and Berlin, where I continued to draw inspiration from fashion, art, and understated beauty.
Those experiences taught me precision, creativity, and something I still believe today: the best hair doesn’t feel overdone. It feels like you.
For ten years, I owned Boulder Beauty Bar, where I refined both my technical skills and the client experience. Great hair matters, but so does trust, connection, and creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.
Today, that philosophy lives on at Sage and Finch.
Located in Niwot, Colorado, Sage and Finch is named after my sons, Sage and Atticus. After calling Niwot home for more than a decade, I wanted to create a salon that felt personal, welcoming, and deeply connected to the community.
My approach is thoughtful and individualized. I’m not focused on chasing trends. I’m focused on creating hair that works for your lifestyle, grows out beautifully, and supports the way you want to feel every day.
The salon reflects that same mindset. It’s a calm, welcoming space where you can slow down, have an honest conversation about your hair goals, and leave feeling refreshed and confident.
Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me exploring art, searching for vintage treasures, enjoying great food, or cheering on my boys from the baseball field.
Hair is my creative outlet, but the relationships are what keep me inspired. Helping people feel comfortable, confident, and seen is still my favorite part of this work.
